Hi I'm JoDee!
I am from California's Sierra. Nevadas. Tuolumne/Calaveras County. My photography journey
started from carrying around a film camera with me on all of my adventures. Snowboarding, backpacking, climbing, road trips, and solo travels, YOU NAME IT !
After realising how much I loved taking photographs I bought my Canon 6D and was able to take limitless photographs and edit them with the same classic vintage look that I always loved getting from film. I wanted to DO MORE! I started helping friends out with getting branding shots for their businesses and did my first engagement session and realised I FOUND WHAT I LOVE TO DO!!!

Content Creation in Maui
During my first year of having my photography business I decided I wanted to try my hand at solo traveling.
I signed up to volunteer in Maui for the non-profit 'All Hands and Hearts', a volunteer led non profit that helps rebuild communities around the world after natural disaster strike.
While I was waiting to deploy I got an email from someone from 'All Hands' they had seen my photography portfolio online and wanted me to BRING MY CAMERA.
I spent my time in Maui capturing the work we were doing, making videos for their social media, capturing images for their website, and making life long friends. THIS WAS MY DREAM.
My life in Music
Before Photography the first thing people knew about me was that I love to play music. I come from a family that has a strong bond over music. I learned guitar when I was 15 and started playing live shows at local bars, restaurants, and vineyards when I was just 16 years old.
This has tied into my life as a photographer well, as I am able to create content for myself to promote my music. I also really love capturing other musicians while they are in their element. It's pretty much my jam.
